- Biology first - it is 50% of the paper and entirely NCERT. Read every line, especially emboldened terms and diagrams with labels
- Chapter-wise mock tests - after completing each chapter, solve 20-30 previous year questions from that chapter alone before moving forward
- Physics numericals - Mechanics and Electrostatics require formula fluency and multi-step calculation practice; 30 minutes daily on numericals is non-negotiable
- Chemistry coverage - cover Organic first (highest weightage in 2025), then Physical, then Inorganic. Do not skip Coordination Compounds
- Revise using NEET 2025 paper - solve it chapter by chapter after completing each unit to check application-level readiness

FAQs - NEET Syllabus 2027
Has the NEET syllabus changed for 2027?
No. The NEET syllabus was revised in 2023 (reduced from the older 97-chapter syllabus to 79 chapters) and has remained unchanged for 2024, 2025, and 2026. NTA has not announced any changes for NEET 2027 either.
How many chapters are in the NEET 2027 syllabus?
The NEET 2027 syllabus has 79 chapters in total: 40 from Class 11 (19 Biology + 10 Physics + 11 Chemistry) and approximately 35 from Class 12 after deletions.
Are deleted chapters asked in NEET?
No. NTA officially removed certain chapters in the 2023 syllabus revision. Questions from deleted chapters do not appear in NEET 2025 or later. Focus only on the current 79 chapters listed above.
When is NEET 2027?
NEET 2027 has not been officially scheduled by NTA yet. Based on NEET's historical first-Sunday-of-May pattern, it is expected around May 2, 2027 - unofficial estimate only. Check the Admit Card page for the latest official updates.
